Sr. Online Media Buying Executive
Job Summary:
As a Senior Online Media Buyer or Assistant Media Buying Manager, you will use your media communication skills and related ability to develop strategic partnerships and direct digital buys with online retail websites/agencies.
Key Responsibility:
- Develop strategic partnerships and direct digital buys with online retail websites/agencies. You will be responsible for proposing the right deal structure for each opportunity (CPM, CPA or CPC) based on the expected response and ROI
- Vet and experiment with the latest digital ad and channel opportunities with the ability to buy into ad networks and platforms, and other non-biddable media. You will be responsible for evaluating the platforms for quality, account management responsiveness, expected performance, and scalability based on ROI
- Compare and negotiate rates, ad space and time slots with various media outlets in online media
- Manage our inbound flow of new opportunities and be the accountable decision make on which buying opportunities are worth pursuing
- Analyze results of media efforts and develop measures of success. Ensure programs result in the highest possible levels of business benefit
- Work closely with Sale Team and Data Strategic Planning Team to recommend, execute, and ensure to deliver smooth and effective campaign
- Be able to collaborate seamlessly with other cross-functional team
- Regularly update new media trend and media technology as well as to share global and local media trend across market, industry, and key competitors along with package promotion for sale uplift
- Deal, negotiation and work closely with media partners including KOLs, Influencers and Publishers
- Responsibility for branded content idea and coordinate with supplier to design contents align with concept & storytelling to communicate with target audience
- Coordinate in financial process of publisher contract, partnership agreement and invoice
- Task for optimization team to conclude monthly optimization budget
- Support in any matter that relate to optimization team such as (ad preview, report, etc.)
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Journalism, Communication Art, Economics or related fields of study
- Minimum 5-6 years’ experiences in digital media buying or digital advertising experience
- Experience to work with media partners (KOLs, Influencers and publishers)
- Experience to do branded content idea with KOLs, Influencers and Publishers
- Ability to work with under pressure and high volume of task to meet deadlines
- Ability to negotiate all aspects of digital buys (including out clauses, SOV, frequency caps, viewability, etc.)
- Proficient understanding of the digital and advertising landscape with a fluent understanding and comfort level with ad tech lingo and online media metrics
- Ability to interface effectively at all levels internally and externally
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
- Proven track record of digital negotiation practices
- Resourceful self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
- Flexible, driven and self-motivated with the ability to articulate a vision and deliver on it
- Ability to quickly respond to opportunities and manage multiple priorities at one time
- Travel may be required in the future; including attending Ad Shows and account meetings
- Excellent in both written & spoken English
